The Fayette Careerlink JOBS Expo is committed to connecting skilled and educated job seekers to the established workforce.
The purpose of FCJE is to provide job seekers an opportunity to gather in one location and meet with employers and post-secondary schools who have jobs and/or internships and to acquire information about certificates and degrees. Take the chill off a cold winter afternoon and savor the flavor of homemade hot soup and French bread accompanied with your favorite selection of wine from the Christian W. Klay collection. The winery’s popular soup and wine event is back again this year and will be held on February 17 and March 30, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Bill Toms Duo will perform at the February 17 event. A repeat performance for this guitar virtuoso and engaging performer, Tom’s music is original Americana folk/rock. He will perform with his amazing sax player, Phil Brontz. For further information, visit www.billtoms.com.
On March 30, Jackson Monsour, an Americana styled folk/rock musician from Bedford, Pa. will perform. Last year, he performed in the Johnstown Folk Festival. Enjoy an evening of wine tasting, chocolate fondue, and live romantic music at the Christian W. Klay Winery in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania as the winery presents the first in their winter music series, “Wine, Women & Song”, on February 9, 7 – 9 p.m. Pittsburgh’s Clark Slater, formerly of the popular band PUSH, will be the featured live entertainment for the evening. Recently, he played as lead guitarist for the Bill Deasy Band. Clark Slater is often compared to James Taylor and Paul Simon. His warm tenor voice and excellent songwriting captivates the audience.

Seven Springs Winterfest

Celebrate winter with WTAE-TV’s annual event showcasing ski and snowboard races, snow tubing races, a craft show, children’s activities, and Celebritiy Olympics, with your favorite news personalities.
