History sets up camp at Fort Necessity

Historic detachments of French Marines and Colonial British troops will set up camp in the Great Meadows at Fort Necessity National Battlefield in Farmington today, where Trent’s Company and Raystown Rangers will represent the British at the camp which is open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Homes with children can get free lead-test kits

Fayette County is one of six counties across the state to be asked to conduct a lead poisoning prevention program because of the high rate of lead poisoning of children in the county.
