Maryland police seek burglars in Fayette County
The Herald Standard Reports:
GARRETT COUNTY, Md. — State police in Maryland and the Garrett County Crime Solvers are asking for residents around the region, particularly in Fayette County, to be on the lookout for burglary suspects following multiple thefts in recent months.
Police said that the most recent theft occurred Aug. 17 between 9 and 9:30 p.m. at Red Rock Enterprises lumberyard in Garrett County.
Police said the suspects removed a blue, Iron and Oak modified wood splitter from the business and then fled the area in an unidentified vehicle.

Motorcyclist killed in Fayette collision with van, car
The Tribune Review Reports:
A 35-year-old Fayette County motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of a three-vehicle crash Sunday on Route 119 in Springhill.

Mt. St. Macrina shines anew for 75th pilgrimage anniversary

The Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Province, serving at Mt. St. Macrina near Uniontown, have been busy getting ready for the 75th anniversary of the annual Labor Day weekend pilgrimage there.
