Two injured after car crashes into utility pole

Ambulance personal lift the driver of this car onto a stretcher after a car traveling on Pittsburgh Street near the intersection with Penn Street lost control and struck a utility pole. The driver and a juvenile passanger were taken to Uniontown Hospital. Uniontown fire, police and ambulance personal all responded to the crash that happened shortly after 4:30p.m. Friday. (John F. Two suspects held for court in Uniontown assault and robbery

The Herald Standard Reports:

Two suspects charged with assaulting and robbing a man in Uniontown July 14 will have their day in court.

Officer Ray Miller said Gary Lee Teets III, 17, of 160 Lenox St., Uniontown, was charged as an adult before Magisterial District Judge Michael Defino with robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery and simple assault.

Miller said Latresse Tarek Williams, 18, of 1621 Kenneth Ave., Arnold, was charged before Defino with robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, aggravated assault and simple assault.

Senior Magisterial District Judge Robert Breakiron held all charges against the men for Fayette County Court during a preliminary hearing held today.
