Pittsburgh man faces drug charges following stop in South Union
The Herald Standard Reports:
A Pittsburgh man is in the Fayette County Prison after he was caught with crack cocaine during a traffic stop in South Union Township early today.
State police said Philip Roberts, 24, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. with possession of cocaine and possession with intent to deliver cocaine following the stop on Route 40 at 1:05 a.m.
According to Trooper Creighton Callas, the traffic stop was conducted after the driver of the car, who was not identified, failed to use a turn signal when entering a parking lot on Route 40.

Police investigate armed robbery in South Union Township
The Herald Standard Reports:
State police are investigating an armed robbery Tuesday night at a store in South Union Township.
Police said the robbery occurred at 9:10 p.m. at the Dollar Tree store next to Target off of Matthew Drive.
Police said the suspect, wearing a mask, approached employees Leslie Masi and Angela Pizicni, no addresses available, as they were leaving the business and ordered them to give him money.
The suspect was brandishing a small, silver handgun, police said.

Police probe robbery in Redstone Township
The Herald Standard Reports:
REDSTONE TWP. — State police said they are searching for a man accused of holding up a pharmacy in Redstone Township Tuesday evening.
Police said the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when the suspect entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Route 40.
The man approached multiple employees inside the store and threatened them with a concealed gun, police said.
He apparently then demanded prescription medication.
