Just like my father before me, I left Fayette County at one point in my life in search of greener pastures. I have found that there is no place like this wonderful county. I longed for the beautiful mountain scenery, the gorgeous trout streams, and the quaint farms nestled in the valleys. But what I missed the most was the sense of community, neighbors that cared about each other, long held traditions, and our strong and colorful history. Fayette County offers rural living right next door to the vibrant exciting urban center of Pittsburgh. There really is no other place like it. I am proud to be a citizen of this great county. I invite others to share my love and begin the process of bringing the county back to a sustainable, viable, centerpiece of our great state of Pennsylvania.
